The planets have gone to sleep.
Somewhere above a dusk-blue horizon, rockets are heading out, saucers are cruising, and every planet has closed its eyes for the night. Gold suns beam, moons rest on pillowy clouds, and little rust-colored stars fill in the gaps.
Down here on earth, the sleeper flips: cuffs over hands, feet over toes, and back again when the room warms up. The long two-way zipper handles the landings that happen at 2 a.m. Send a small explorer off in the only outfit that comes with its own night sky.
